  • Every year, the Controlled Release Society (CRS) honors outstanding individuals who have significantly advanced the field of drug delivery. This year, Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr has been awarded the CRS Distinguished Service Award for his long-standing commitment to the society and his influential contributions to pharmaceutical science.

  • As part of the 37th Allergy Colloquium at the Research Center Borstel, Dr. Matthias Reiger was awarded the Kanert Award for Allergy Research. The scientist received the recognition for a research project focused on the use of nanopore sequencing in atopic dermatitis research.

  • At this year’s Congress of the German Diabetes Association (DDG), three researchers from Helmholtz Munich were honored for their outstanding scientific achievements. Their groundbreaking work is helping to advance the understanding, prevention, and treatment of diabetes mellitus.
