The diversity of our employees is a great asset for us. With this diversity, we can approach scientific challenges from very different perspectives and find solutions that we can share.

At Helmholtz, people from all over the world work to meet the great challenges of our time. We resolutely oppose discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and abuse of power.

Our employees should be able to fully develop their talents. That is why we promote an atmosphere of respect and fairness, appreciation and belonging, and safety and openness at our Research Centers. To drive these activities even further, we have formulated concrete goals, expectations and measures in our "Diversity and Inclusion Guidelines".

Helmholtz Network for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Helmholtz Network for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is an association of DEI responsible persons and interested parties from all Helmholtz Centers. It serves as a platform for the collegial exchange of best practices and the joint planning of Helmholtz-wide events.
