Budget
The Helmholtz Association‘s annual budget 2024 was about 6.19 billion euros. Approximately 70 percent of the Association’s funds was provided by Germany’s federal and state governments at a ratio of 9 to 1.
The Centers raised around 36 percent of the total budget themselves in the form of third-party funding. Unless otherwise indicated, the figures refer to the reporting status of the year 2024.
