The Stifterverband Science Award – High-Impact-Award

The Helmholtz Association, together with the Stifterverband, will award the prize, which is endowed with 50,000 euros, for the first time in 2023.

The Science Award of the Stifterverband - High-Impact-Award - honors outstanding scientific or technically innovative achievements in border areas between different subjects of medicine, natural and engineering sciences and in which representatives of at least two disciplines have participated.

The prize winners are free to use the prize money as they wish. It is officially presented each year during the Helmholtz Annual Meeting. The prize emphasizes the special importance of interdisciplinary cooperation achieved in border areas between different fields of scientific-technical as well as medical-biological research and is oriented towards the six research fields of the Helmholtz Association.
