AixLib

AixLib is an open-source Modelica-library for dynamic simulation of buildings and building energy systems.

It contains Modelica models for the building envelope and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment such as boilers, radiators, heat pumps, and combined heat and power units.

To test and optimize advanced energy systems and their control, dynamic and multi-physical simulations are gaining in importance. The AixLib is an open Modelica library, which aims to represent all technical components of a building with the help of dynamic models. These range from individual hydraulic components, such as valves to simplified models for buildings, which enable the simulation of entire urban districts. The AixLib is part of the IBPSA Project 1 core library and therefore compatible to many other open Modelica libraries for energy systems of buildings and districts.

Open-source available here.
