The G6 Network

Who we are

Our network unites six large multidisciplinary European Research Performing Organisations: the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren, the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft and the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft. We as G6 represent more than 140 000 professionals. In 2024, CNR chairs our network.

Knowledge is Europe's engine.

As public Research Performing Organisations, we participate in all pillars of Horizon Europe. We are convinced that knowledge is Europe’s engine. Scientific excellence is one of our key principles.
