Since 2013, the “Start-Up Days” have taken place alternately in Dresden and Bonn. These are set up jointly by the transfer points of the Leibniz Association, the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the Helmholtz Association and the Max Planck Institute.
The “Start-Up Days” offer scientists from the four research organisations who are interested in founding their own business a comprehensive information opportunity regarding all relevant topics involving enterprise foundation.
In lectures and practice workshops, those interested in founding their own firm discover interesting facts presented by experts concerning how to establish their own enterprise, and receive, from founder experts, valuable suggestions for the start of a high-tech spin-off. At the same time, the “Start-Up Days” offer an outstanding possibility for networking with other potential founders from the sector of non-university research.
