Further Activities
In independent projects we are experimenting with new approaches in order to constantly improve knowledge and technology transfer.
TMod: “Design and testing of models for research-related transfer structures in non-university research”
In the model project funded by the BMBF with the title “Design and testing of models for research-related transfer structures in non-university research” – known as TMOD for short – several transfer facilities within the Helmholtz Association collaborate under the management of GFZ between 2013 and 2016. Existing transfer infrastructures were evaluated and systematically new external and internal models were developed. With these new structures scientists’ results and achievements are intended to more effectively become genuine innovations. This occurred through analysis of Best Practices, clarification of practical queries and individual support of concept development and implementation. The project results were specifically prepared for subsequent use by interested facilities.
