Prof. Dr Babette Simon
“In their assessments of the field of health research, our international colleagues have once again confirmed that the Helmholtz Association is conducting high quality research. Outstanding basic research provides an ideal foundation for tomorrow’s groundbreaking translational projects. This is why I am pleased that the Helmholtz Senate has approved special funding to integrate personalized medicine – as a topic of great importance for the future – into all health research programmes and thus strategically strengthen bidirectional translational research.”
