moderated by Lilo Berg

We are the next generation of scientists. Where do we see ourselves in the future? Are we satisfied in the scientific environment in which we work? How will science change in the future? What changes can be made to make science more interesting as an employer? Where is our social responsibility as a scientist? How will the science of tomorrow look? Is Germany in a leading position, or are we lagging behind others? Do all scientists of tomorrow have to be able to program everything? Which topics are relevant to humanity in the future? These and more questions will be addressed to our diverse and oustanding discussion panel.

As our podium guests we are going to welcome Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Rheinhard Hüttl (chairman of the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam - GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences), Prof. Dr. Otmar D. Wiestler (president of the Helmholtz Association), Kristina Vaillant (journalist for science and research), Ijad Madisch (co-founder and CEO of ResearchGate), a representative of policy as well as a spokesperson of the HeJus.
