The technology transfer points at the Helmholtz Centres are supported in particular by two external private partners - Ascenion GmbH and engage AG - who are both honorary members of the TTGR working group.
Ascenion GmbH
Ascenion GmbH supports the transfer points of the four Helmholtz Centres specialising in the life sciences. This service business, the first of its kind in Germany, has representatives at HMGU, MDC, HZI and DZNE. The Ascenion head office is in Munich.

After running a model project about technology screening in the field of key technologies, engage AG became a recognised private commercial partner of some Helmholtz Centres.
