Subtopic Potential of renewable sources of energy

The objective of this work topic is to register the potentials of all renewable sources of energy throughout the world and map them by means of a geographic information system (GIS). For Europe, a precision of 10 x 10 km², and for the world as a whole of 50 x 50 km² is sought. The dynamic supply of wind and solar energy is represented on an hourly basis. Sustainability standards are taken into account in determining the potential of biomass.
