Workshop "Monte Carlo-Methods in Natural Sciences, Engineering and Economics"

The aim of the workshop on "Monte Carlo methods in natural sciences, engineering and economy" is to bring together experts on Monte Carlo simulations, their development and their application. The focus is on providing a forum for discussing state-of-the-art technology from various fields
in order to seed interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and potentially common efforts or developments. Applications of Monte Carlo methods will be covered, amongst others, in high energy physics, condensed matter physics, transportation, cosmology, climate research, biology, chemistry, economics and finance.
