Field of cancer research continues to expand: new Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf Institute of Radiation Oncology opens

Am HZDR wird zum 1. Januar 2013 ein neues Institut für Radioonkologie gegründet. Institutsdirektor ist der Dresdner Krebsforscher Prof. Michael Baumann, der auch die Klinik für Strahlentherapie und Radioonkologie am Universitätsklinikum Dresden leitet sowie für das Dresdner OncoRay-Zentrum spricht.
