The French Embassy in Berlin and the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers organize a French-German colloquium entitled “50 Years In The Light Of The Laser”, which takes place on November 5 and 6, 2010, in the French Embassy located at the Pariser Platz in Berlin. The event intends to stimulate discussions on fascinating new perspectives for laser research and establish contacts for further scientific co-operations between France and Germany.

Poster presentations:
We encourage our participants to bring a poster along. We especially appreciate posters that show results from a successful French-German scientific cooperation employing laser technology. The best poster will be awarded with a valuable prize.
The colloquium takes place under the patronage of the French Ambassador in Berlin and the President of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. It is carried by the French Embassy, the Helmholtz Association, the Freie Universität Berlin and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
