The foundation “House of Little Research Scientists” is dedicated to high quality training for all children between the ages of three and ten – regardless of their background and the parents’ income. The “House of Little Research Scientists” supports, with their nationwide continuing education programme, pedagogical professionals and teaching staff in their endeavour of promoting the spirit of discovery in girls and boys, and accompanies them through their research efforts.
The workshop content is scientifically substantiated and the experiments and research concepts are taken from the children’s everyday lives and can be carried out with simple materials.
Meanwhile, the “House of Little Research Scientists” has become the largest early-training initiative in Germany. Foundation partners are:
- the Helmholtz-Association,
- the Siemens Foundation,
- the Dietmar Hopp Foundation,
- the Deutsche Telekom Foundation
- and the VW Autostadt in Wolfsburg.
The “House of Little Research Scientists” is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
