IPP director receives Merit Cross on Ribbon

Prof. Sibylle Günter, Scientific Director of the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, has been awarded the Merit Cross on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Office of the Federal President in Berlin stated that "in addition to her scientific work, Prof. Günter is highly committed to promoting scientific young talent and has rendered outstanding services to science and teaching".
