Contest Understanding Science:
In 2012, the UFZ competition "Wissenschaft verstehen" (Understanding Science) includes for the first time the cooperation partner "Spektrum der Wissenschaft" (German issue of Scientific American magazine). The competition is addressed at doctoral students and postdocs working in the field of environmental research, who present their doctoral thesis in a popular science manner. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2012.
