Second Term of Office for Hüttl

Prof. Dr Reinhard F. J. Hüttl will keep the post of Chairman of the Board at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam - GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences for another five years. The well-respected soil and forestry scientist has been managing the GFZ since June 2007. Since October 2008, Hüttl is President of Acatech and since January 2011 Vice-President of the Helmholtz Association. His second term as Chairman of the Board at the GFZ begins in June 2012.
