DGL Young Talent Award for UFZ Researcher:

Dr Mario Brauns from the Department of River Ecology has received the first of three young talent awards donated by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Limnologie (DGL - German Limnology Association) for his outstanding publication on the impact of human development of lakeshores on the structure and function of the littoral food chain in lakes (Journal of Applied Ecology, 48: 916-925).
