Enertec Award for Dresden-Rossendorf

At the "enertec" energy trade fair, the Helmholtz Centre Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) was presented with the "enertec dezentral" award endowed with 10,000 Euro. The award is sponsored by the Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) and the Leipziger Messe and awarded in recognition of innovations from industry and science in the field of decentralised energy technology. The HZDR was awarded in the category science for the development of autonomous sensors. They are intended for the application in biogas plants. The aim is to optimise processes for producing biogas and thus increase the degree of efficiency of biogas plants.
