Mattauch-Herzog Prize Awarded to Dr Wolfgang Plaß

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Massenspektrometrie (DGMS - German Mass Spectrometry Society) awards this year's Mattauch-Herzog Prize endowed with 12,500 Euro to Wolfgang Plaß from the Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research (GSI) for his work with stored exotic atomic nuclei and for groundbreaking developments in the field of instruments for precision mass spectrometry.
