DZNE in Magdeburg Expanded
At its Magdeburg site, the German Centre for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) receives a new research laboratory located on the campus of the medical faculty of the University of Magdeburg. The federal state of Saxony-Anhalt contributes 23 million Euro to the new building. On a total area of 4,000 square metres an estimated six professorships with their corresponding scientific and technical personnel will be given optimal working conditions to research new possibilities for diagnosing and treating neurodegenerative diseases.
