Project Funds for FAIR
A decisive development phase begins at the international accelerator centre FAIR at the GSI in Darmstadt. On 6 December 2011, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Dr Helge Braun, presented the notice of granting of project funds totalling 50.2 million Euro. This enables the commissioning for the serial production of important FAIR accelerator and experiment components.
