German Hypertension Society Honours Prof. Bader:

The Deutsche Hochdruckliga (German Hypertension Society) has awarded the Franz Gross Science Award to Prof. Dr Michael Bader from the Max Delbrück Centre for Molecular Medicine (MDC) Berlin-Buch in recognition of his special contributions to hypertension research. The researcher was awarded the prize endowed with 10,000 Euro during the opening event of the Deutsche Hochdruckliga's 35th scientific congress in Cologne in November 2011. Prof. Bader researches the regulation of the cardiovascular system and of hypertension. In doing so, he focuses in particular on the involved hormone systems and their genes.
