Research operations begin at PETRA III
PETRA III, the new radiation source at the DESY research centre, has begun operations for the international scientific community. Three beamlines are already in use and four additional lines are running on a trial basis. By the end of the year, PETRA III’s brilliant X-ray light will reach all fourteen beamlines.
