Magnetism and superconductivity

Researchers at the Helmholtz Centre Berlin (HZB) have discovered a magnetic signature that occurs universally in the new class of iron-based superconductors. They demonstrated this finding in neutron-scattering experiments in both the HZB’s BER II reactor and at the Laue-Langevin Institute in Grenoble.
