ERC Advanced and Starting Grants

The following Helmholtz Association researchers have been successful in obtaining advanced and starting grants from the European Research Council (ERC): Dr. Mathias Heikenwälder, Dr. Melanie Königshoff, Dr. Heiko Lickert, Dr. Daniel Razansky and Professor Fabian Theis of the HMGU; Dr. Francesca Spagnoli of the MDC; Dr. Aurelio Telemann of the DKFZ; Dr. Thor­sten Wiegand and Dr. Andreas Huth of the UFZ. Professor Christof Niehrs of the DKFZ was selected for an ERC advanced grant. The ERC assists scientists in establishing their own working group in Europe. Grants range from 1.5 to 2 million euros over a five-year period.
