Google Faculty Research Award goes to the KIT

The computer scientists Christoph Amma and Prof. Tanja Schultz from the KIT were honoured with the Google Faculty Research Award. They received the award endowed with 81,000 US-Dollar for their research on mobile, gesture-based interfaces. They have developed a glove registering hand movements by way of sensors, which then are translated into texts by a computer system.
